Intense Rainfall Sweeps Through Dubai and Wider Region

Intense rainfall has swept across Dubai and the wider United Arab Emirates, causing significant disruptions to flight operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
The inclement weather has forced the cancellation and delay of numerous flights at DXB, with travelers advised to check with their airlines for updated information on their flights.
The heavy rains, which began on Tuesday morning, have also flooded out portions of major roads in Dubai and other parts of the UAE, causing traffic delays and road closures. Several areas, including parts of Dubai's financial district, have been particularly hard hit by the flooding.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather warning for the UAE, urging residents to take precautions and avoid driving in flooded areas.
