Legendary actor and filmmaker Clint Eastwood is making his return to the silver screen in the upcoming American neo-Western drama 'Cry Macho'. The film, directed and produced by Eastwood, is set to premiere in cinemas in September 2021.
Eastwood stars in the film alongside Dwight Yoakam and Daniel V. Webb. The film tells the story of a former rodeo star who is hired to transport a young boy from Mexico back to his father in Texas. Along the way, the two form an unlikely bond as they navigate the challenges of the journey.
'Cry Macho' is written by Nick Schenk and N. Richard Nash, based on the 1975 novel of the same name by N. Richard Nash. The film is produced by Eastwood, Albert S. Ruddy, and Tim Moore.
